We are delighted to report that two of this summer’s leavers – Will Trenholm (North 2020) and Oscar Beard (North 2020) have signed contracts with the Harlequins Academy.
Both have been involved with the Quins since they were 13 and both come from Farnham RFC. They have also played for England Schoolboys and last year represented England Under-18s. They made their senior Quins debuts in the Premiership Rugby Shield earlier in the season.
“They have come through the junior pathway at Harlequins and we are very excited by the potential they have shown,” Academy coach Jim Evans said. “Will is a rangy, dynamic back row and Oscar is a quick and talented centre. Both Oscar and Will have been key members of a strong Cranleigh School team over the years.
“They have all deserved this opportunity to further develop and become great Harlequins players for years to come. A thank you must go out to their parents, schools and clubs for the support they have shown towards the boys’ rugby.”
