Over 70s’ Reunion on Sunday 26 April 2015

The catering and wine was again excellent and we are so fortunate that the School team makes us so welcome.  The hospitality is much appreciated by us all.

It was a pleasure to have Martin Reader and his wife Amanda with us at our Reunion and for most of us it was the first time we had met our new Headmaster so that made it rather special for us. He gave us a brief insight into some of his plans for Cranleigh which he will be announcing in full at Speech Day. We were told to expect further buildings or extensions – it never ends – whilst the Chapel seating is already being changed to be followed by the new War Memorial to which we were able to make donations totalling £1,700 to the Fund. Even the Dining Hall is being given a refurbishment with new panelling already installed – it makes it so much lighter – to be followed by redecoration and new flooring but Martin reassured us that the tables are being retained.

So much is in the pipeline and we were very impressed by the excellent presentation from the Headmaster.pic3
