Old Cranleighan Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Society
The Old Cranleighan Media Society has evolved into the OC TMT Society, reflecting the increasingly interconnected worlds of Technology, Media and Telecommunications.
Our mission is to build a highly engaged community of Old Cranleighans working across these sectors – from startups to global corporates, and from early careers through to senior leadership.
What we do
The Society is focused on creating a genuinely useful and active network for OCs, with an emphasis on:
- Networking – connecting OCs across the TMT ecosystem in an informal and collaborative environment
- Careers & mentorship – supporting students and recent graduates with advice, introductions and opportunities
- Business opportunities – facilitating partnerships, investment, hiring and knowledge-sharing within the OC network
- Community – building a strong, long-term alumni network within one of the most dynamic areas of the global economy
Events & community
We are moving to a more active model, including:
- Regular in-person events throughout the year, including talks, panels and social gatherings
- A dedicated WhatsApp group to enable ongoing conversation, introductions and opportunities between events
This combination of physical and digital engagement is designed to make the Society far more useful on a day-to-day basis, not just at occasional meetups.
