We are greatly looking forward to the OCS and Cranleigh Friends’ candlelit Christmas Carol service which will take place on Sunday 10th December at 6pm. We have had a tremendous response and if you have already booked tickets then we don’t need to hear from you again unless you need disabled parking, in which case please respond to this email to make us aware. Also we would be grateful to know if you can no longer come for catering purposes.

We look forward to welcoming Old Cranleighans, their parents, former staff and our neighbours to enjoy this candlelit Carol Service in the School’s beautiful Chapel, followed by mulled wine and refreshments in the Dining Hall.

We are grateful to the following members of the Cranleigh community who will be taking part in the service. Music Scholar, Fayruz Megdiche (South 2011-2016), will be singing a traditional solo, and sub organist at Guildford Cathedral, Asher Oliver, will be accompanying our singing. Our readers will include: Head of Cranleigh School, Martin Reader; Teacher and House Mistress of Rhodes, Gemma Bukowska (South 2002-2007); Head of Riding, former English Teacher and Foundation Trustee, Chris Allison; Broadcaster, Rob Curling (West 1970-1975); former Head of English, Peter Longshaw; and Clare Mould, parent of OCs and Cranleigh Friend. The service will be conducted by the School Chaplain Revd Jacob Harrison.

After the service, you are invited to join us for mulled wine and refreshments . There will be a retiring collection in aid of the Cranleigh Foundation.

The service is free to attend but as we expect a high demand for places, and need to know for catering purposes, please book tickets by clicking on the button below or calling us on 01483 542 135. We very much look forward to seeing you there.
