Old Cranleighan Art Exhibition to be held in June

The OC Society will be holding its first-ever art exhibition to celebrate the professional artistic talent of its members.

The jewel in the crown of the week-long exhibition will be a private champagne reception on the evening of June 16 from 7.00 pm, at the Strand Gallery, 32 John Adam Street, WC2N 6BP (near Charing Cross Station).  We are fortunate that 15 OC artists, covering painting, sculpture and photography, have agreed to exhibit their work.

All OCs are invited free of charge, and are encouraged to come to see the outstanding artistic ability of their fellow members.  Whether you struggled to hold a paintbrush, or were producing pieces on a par with the greats while at Cranleigh, it would be wonderful to see many OCs at the event.

We are also privileged to acknowledge and celebrate Peter McNiven’s 100 terms at Cranleigh.  Peter has kindly agreed to exhibit alongside the OC artists, and we know it would mean a great deal to him if you are able to come.

If you can’t join us for the private view on the 16th, do come during the week any time from 11 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday.  For details, please e-mail  rns@cranleigh.org
